Domain Instructions

To get secure encrypted HTTPS traffic, we recommend that you get a custom domain. Domains are affordable and easily obtainable these days.

We recommend using one.com, but you can use any domain service provider you prefer.

Adding 'A' Records

Once you have your domain, log in to the dashboard at one.com or your own provider's dashboard.

• In the dashboard, select your domain from the menu located in the top left corner.
• Go to the bottom right corner of the dashboard.
• Under 'Advanced Settings', find and click the 'DNS Settings' link.
• Click on DNS Records.
• Create a new “A” record and enter a hostname, for example updater.
• In the IP section, add the IP of your server.
• You can leave the TTL (Time to Live) empty.
• Click on Create Record when you’re done.
• Restart your caddy server.

It can take a few minutes for the changes to take effect.
